Placar UOL
Soccer App
UOL
According to Ibope Nielsen Online, UOL (Universe Online) is Brazil’s largest internet portal with more than 50 million unique visitors and 6.7 billion page views every month.
For more than ten years, UOL has covered the most important soccer championships. Because of this, they have developed an app with scores, videos, and news.
App Redesign
This project was part of the course of UX Design that I took in the General Assembly in New York City. My objective was to improve the experience of 'watching' game in an app, to be able to read play-by-play and watch videos comfortably.
Desk Research
To start redesigning this app, I began researching other sports apps to learn what were the most common features and make a competitive analysis.
I had also searched for references in other areas that could have functionalities that might improve this app experience.
User Interviews
Part of the research phase, I have interviewed 60 people from the audience to understand how they used and what they think about soccer apps.
With this material, I was able to build personas, users goals, and users flow. After that, I created a new Sitemap.
